6.       If a burned CD stutters when you play it in an external CD-RW drive, try playing it in an internal drive or a stereo system.
7.       If user’s CD burn is unsuccessful and their external drive becomes unresponsive, turn off the drive and on it back to reset it.
8.       Movies purchased from the iTunes Store can’t be burned to a DVD or VCD that plays in a DVD player, or to a Video CD.
9.       If user’s computer or display goes to sleep mode while they are burning a CD, try setting the computer and display to wait longer before going to sleep. To do this, use the Power Options control panel.
10.    Use Windows Update to make sure you have the latest Service Pack for user’s computer installed.
11.    Users have to check their computer or drive manufacturer’s site for firmware updates and install any that are appropriate for their computer and CD or DVD drive.
12.    Even if customer’s computer is new, make sure they have the latest drivers for their video and sound cards and other peripherals. Check the manufacturers’ sites for updates.
13.    Try using a different Brand of media or a different type of disc (for example, CD-RW instead of CD-R).
14.    Try choosing a lower burn speed.
15.    Some CD-RW drives don’t work with iTunes. After user choose File > Burn Playlist to Disc, if their drive is shown next to CD Burner, it works with iTunes. If their drive isn’t shown, it might not be supported or the correct drivers might not be installed. To install the appropriate drivers, reinstall iTunes.
